I always loved Granola, and starting making my own so that I know exactly what is going into it. Shop-bought Granola usually has added sugar and preservatives, so making your own is a fresh way to ensure that you’re consuming healthy ingredients in your morning breaky!

This Granola is full of healthy fats, Omega 3’s and protein! It lasts for a month if in a sealed container and its absolutely delicious! Try it for yourself 🙂

Ingredients

150g Cashews

150g Almonds

100g Sunflower seeds

5 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup

3 Tablespoons Organic Cold-pressed Coconut oil

4 Tablespoons of Golden Flaxseed

4 Tablespoons Oatbran

1 Teaspoon of vanilla essence

3 Teaspoons of Cinnammon

Method

Pre hear the oven to 150 degrees

Line a baking tray with paper baking sheet

Pour all the dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix together

In a pan, add the coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract and cinnamon and put on low hear until all melted together

Pour the melted contents into the dry mixture and mix well, try to make sure that there arent any dry bits

Pour the mixture onto the baking tray and spread evenly (if you want a more clumpy effect in your Granola, pack it quite tightly so that it sticks together)

Bake for 20-25 minutes, Check after 10 minutes and stir the ingredients in the tray to assist with the evening roasting 🙂

Allow to cool then add to a sealed container
