I’m always looking for new breakfast ideas, instead of my classic granola I decided to try making granola bars for the first time and came up with these gooey morning delights! Super easy to make and a great healthy way to start your day😊

Banana Cinnamon Granola bars

3 large ripe Bananas (mashed)

100g Almonds (chopped)

100g Cashews (chopped)

100 ml Maple syrup


1 teaspoon vanilla extract

100g Flaxseed

50ml Honey

250g jumbo oats


  1. Pre heat the oven to 150 degrees
  2. Put all dry ingredients into a large bowl
  3. Place all wet ingredients into a blender including the mashed banana and blend until smooth, add maple syrup & honey to preferred sweetness and continue to blend if needed
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry mixture and mix well
  5. Line baking tray with baking paper and pour mixture into the tray
  6. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes
  7. Allow to cool and then cut into squares
